Electrospinning and Electrospraying

Electrospinning allows to create membranes made out of microfibers or nanofibers with diameters varying from ten nanometers to a few micrometers.

Useful in solid particle and chemical filtration applications, these membranes can also serve as biological scaffolds for cell growth, drug delivery or sensor development, to name just a few!

In addition to our solid expertise in electrospinning, we use our semi-industrial electrospinning machine to scale-up the process.

At ETS, we develop membranes for different sectors for:

- Bacterial and viral filtration
- Separation of oil and water
- Drug release
- Encapsulation of active substances
- Development of stimulo-chromic sensors

We are also working on the development of variants of electro-spinning technology.
