Rheology

Rheology, the science that studies the flow of matter, provides valuable information about molten polymers and how to process them.

Rheology can even be used to characterize chocolate and cholesterol level.

Thanks to our advanced rheometers, we can simulate most of the flows that occur during polymer processing. In particular, we work on:

- The use of rheology to characterize and control the morphology of polymer blends and nanocomposites
- The rheological behaviour of graphene based nanocomposites and carbon nanotubes
- The melt strength of nanocomposites
